Timmy Tumbles
Tippy Tumbles first came out in 1968 and was produced by Remco. In 1969 Remco produced a similar doll called "Tumbling Tomboy" that had a go-cart propelled by the doll's rotating arms. Timmy Tumbles is a boy version of the girl Tippy Tumbles Ideal started producing starting around 1977. I'm not sure of the connection between the Remco and Ideal products - it is possible Ideal bought up Remco patents as Remco filed for bankruptcy in the early 70's. Not to be left out of the acrobatic action, Mattel produced a "Jenny Gymnast" tumbling doll in 1993.

Since this doll arrived working, there was no need to open him up. The mechanism is explained in the patent. Without a remote control unit, the doll will not do tricks.

- He pulls himself up
- He does a back flip and many more tricks
